We had a blast at the 2024 Blue Jean Bash!

Thank you to everyone who made the event a success! The evening was a wonderful celebration of community and giving back. Habitat Charlotte Region believes everyone deserves a decent place to live, and by helping our families find a safe and affordable place to call home, our community of generous supporters strengthen our community, encourage economic mobility, and allow Habitat families to build a solid foundation for themselves, their children, and future generations.

We loved seeing everyone dressed in their best denim! You can look back at the evening by viewing the full photo gallery below.

Kee'a, Habitat Charlotte Region homeowner with her daughters and Habitat Charlotte Region staff

impact beyond

The evening featured the inspiring stories of three of our partner families who have walked three different paths to homeownership. Kee’a has remained steadfast in her pursuit of stability and a brighter future for herself and her two daughters through a newly constructed home in The Meadows at Plato Price.

Vanessa has always wanted to own a home of her own and when things did not go exactly as she planned, she kept the faith by purchasing one of our existing homes within miles of where she works.

And lastly, Valorie and Richard, who were born and raised in the Smithville community of Cornelius and have been married for 50 years. They partnered with Habitat Charlotte Region’s critical home repair program to keep their home safe and accessible for years to come.
