Publix announced today the launch of its new Publix Virtual 30 Challenge, a 30-day virtual exercise challenge. From June 1 through 30, participants are invited to complete 30 miles of running, biking or walking in 30 days. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. The registration fee is $30 and 100% of the proceeds will go to local nonprofit organizations in Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Nashville, Tennessee.
“We’re excited to launch this new challenge encouraging customers and associates to get out and be active while also supporting charities in our operating area,” Publix Director of Community Relations Dwaine Stevens said.
Participants are able to direct their registration fee to support one of the following nonprofit organizations:
Charleston
Charlotte
Nashville
Entries are limited to 2,000 participants. All participants must be 18 years of age or older and live within Publix’s seven-state operating area. Those participating will receive a medal and t-shirt.
