Updated Volunteer Sign-Up Process
Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region is moving to a new Volunteer Management platform! Over the next few months we will be transitioning from Salesforce to VolunteerHub.
What’s changing and when:Â
- Shifts scheduled now through June 30th will be posted in Salesforce (current platform).
- Shifts starting July 1 or later will be posted in VolunteerHub (new platform).

Want to make a difference with peers who share your passion? Explore ways to get involved and give back at a time that fits your schedule.
Construction Opportunities (16+)
Get started right away. No construction experience necessary; our skilled site supervisors provide on-site instruction to help get you started. Volunteer as a group or view upcoming individual shifts.
ReStore Opportunities (14+)
Every purchase at any of our seven ReStores directly supports building affordable homes for individuals and families from Pineville to Statesville. We’re always looking for friendly faces to help with donations, sales, and more.
Special Projects (14+)
Throughout the year, Habitat Charlotte Region has large volunteer events that youth are welcome to participate in! Check out our special projects pages or fill out the general contact form to learn more!

Ongoing Youth Opportunities
Ready to make a deeper impact? Become an ongoing Habitat volunteer. You’ll join a community of passionate people who serve regularly through internships, Habitat Young Professionals, campus chapters, and more.
Habitat Young Professionals (18-40)
An affinity organization of Habitat Charlotte Region with a focus on networking, fundraising and volunteerism.
AmeriCorps (18+)
Serve an 11-month service term with Habitat Charlotte Region. An educational award is granted at end of term. There are construction and non-construction opportunities (varies by year).
Internships (18+)
Internships are often available year-round for construction and non-construction opportunities.

Academic & Extracurricular Community Service
Have a service requirement that you need to fulfill for school or a club? Volunteering with Habitat is a phenomenal way to fulfill a service hour requirement!
